Three Elements of Every EI Roundtable

EI Roundtable sessions are facilitated by knowledgeable professionals. Each facilitator has both years of experience as a top-level executive and significant expertise in group process. EI Facilitators therefore know how to maximize the power of the group and understand what it takes to lead and manage organizations.

There are three main activities that take place at the EI Roundtables:

  1. Issue Processing: members present pressing strategic issues, share ideas, and discuss the various challenges they face in leading and managing their organizations. They receive valuable input to help them make better decisions and become better leaders.
  2. Educational Forums: participants are exposed to core business ideas drawn from outside experts, summarized briefs and member contributions. The focus is on actionable ideas that can be implemented to make their organizations more successful.
  3. Goals and Action Plans: members formulate and review their strategic goals and action plans with the group. Every session concludes with a commitment to actions that they will accomplish by the following month. Members appreciate being held accountable and find they end up accomplishing more of what's really important.

As a result of this EI experience, members more quickly and easily overcome the wide variety of challenges they face. They stay focused on the big picture and come away with more clarity regarding their desired outcomes. They are better able to make improvements in their business models and become more effective in dealing with employees, donors, and boards. Tangible results are achieved in all key areas including the creation of self-sustaining revenue streams, increases in funding levels, a greater commitment from the organization's constituents, and ultimately a realization of the organization's mission.
