HOW AUTHOR ACCELERATOR WAS BORN
To be perfectly honest, this brilliant idea wasn't mine. I was busy as a private book coach helping a few clients one at a time and feeling very satisfied with the work. My clients were killing it, and I was working on refining my strategy and offerings. It was Matt Richter-Sand, my co-founder, who recognized how unusual it was for someone to have a system or a strategy around the creative process. He heard me giving a speech at the UCLA Center for Entrepreneurial Studies and had the big aha moment. He had the vision for how to bring my work to a wider audience -- and here we are!
I have hand selected our editors and personally trained them to know how to focus on four key elements -- technical considerations, the big picture story, the writer's confidence, and how the book might fit into the marketplace.
