Minimal Productions is a full-service environmental consulting company catering to the entertainment industry. Our mission is to help productions reduce their environmental impact and thus become industry leaders in sustainable practices. We work with line producers, production crews and staff to seamlessly integrate “green” practices into our clients’ current productions.
As a logistics company, Minimal Productions provides our clients with vendors, services and resources, supervises the implementation of greening practices and provides reportable measurements of the effort to reduce environmental impact.
We understand the inner workings of the entertainment industry and tailor our services to each individual production’s specific needs. We make it our mission to instill our clients with knowledge of sustainable practices and ensure a smooth transition to a greener production.
Our onsite consultants will work with our clients and their staff to implement these practices until they become second nature. At that point, our involvement will be reduced, returning to make set visits as agreed upon by Minimal Productions and its clients, to insure compliance with the plan that is set up.
We understand that integrating new environmental practices cannot be a disruption to ongoing production practices. We break down the process into easy to understand categories and let our clients choose those areas that resonate, so that they are in control of the process. Following sustainable practices does not necessarily equate with spending more money. Knowledge and tools for implementation is key. Changing the way people view and integrate these practices is our main objective.
We also understand that the process has to be as close to cost neutral as possible. Budgets differ, as do the sizes of various productions, we understand that, and work to stay within a given budget to maximize the return based on those choices.
